    We believe that the name Sampletext captures the spirit of our mission as it represents a starting line for innovation and self-expression.

    It brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by shared passions, interest, or ideas.

    Through targeting the individual unique nature of all people opposed to the collective mind frame that groups tend to opperate in; We aim to create an inclusive atmosphere where individuals from all backgrounds can find common ground

    Embracing this philosophy promotes a sustainable and mindful approach to fashion. By doing so, chosen pieces naturally become wardrobe staples, getting frequent wear over an extended period (much like a uniform) all while authentically representing oneself through clothing.

  • This philosophy goes into how people don’t realize how a t-shirt can be used as a walking billboard .

    Many individuals wear clothing with brand logos as a way to showcase their status and wealth. While some individuals may genuinely enjoy the aesthetic of brand logos on clothing, it's important to recognize the larger societal implications of this trend. By focusing on brand logos and status symbols, individuals are contributing to a culture that values material possessions and economic status over having a more authentic representation of oneself through clothing.

    Our goal is to change this narrative by using clothing as a medium to promote self-expression, mindfulness, and personal style rather than impressing others or conforming to a specific image.

  • At Sampletext, we believe that fashion is a source of personal expression, and therefore, gifting clothes can be a difficult task. A lot of gifted clothes end up being donated or taking up unnecessary space in our closet. That's why we have an anti-gifting philosophy and discourage the practice of gifting our clothing items unless specifically requested by the recipient. We believe that clothing should be chosen by the individual as a tool for their self-expression, rather than as a gift.

  • Our logo is a take on the traditional yin yang symbol which is often misunderstood as representing balance between black-and-white dichotomy.

    Sampletext's logo incorporates a third spiral that symbolizes a more nuanced understanding of balance and harmony, acknowledging the complexities that lie between forces. The grey area.

    Our logo incorporates several sacred geometric elements.

    • Each spiral is perfectly in line with the golden ratio, a mathematical proportion that is found in nature and often associated with beauty and balance.

    • The logo's negative space is equal to its positive space, creating a sense of harmony and equilibrium

    • When the logo is flipped on top of the original image, and the dots are connected, it creates the Merkaba. A symbol that represents the connection between the divine and earthly realms. The Merkaba forms the outline of the seed of life, another sacred geometric symbol that represents the cycle of creation and growth.

DESIGN LANGUAGE

  • As our name suggests, Sampletext uses alot of typographic art to convey our messages and ideas.

    Our signature font is times new roman as it is the most common default font in creative softwares.

  • Lenticulars provide us a dynamic platform for conveying the message behind our products. Lenticular designs spark curiosity and intrigue, prompting discussion.

    Lenticular’s are lenses that produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as they are viewed from different angles.

  • The triple quotation mark used in our quotes is a representation of the three spirals from our logo. It's a subtle but effective way of incorporating our branding into our content.

  • We incorporate placeholder text into our designs, mocking the way other companies often rely on the use of meaningless text to design t-shirts.

    We contrast this with thought provoking messages and by doing so hope to draw attention to the importance of meaningful and thought-provoking messages within fashion.
