MISSION

Our mission is to create a sense of community and connection among people through communication. Whether it's through a bold statement, a powerful quote, or a thought-provoking image our designs aim to spark internal reflection and external dialogue. We want our designs to be a catalyst for introspection, dialogue and community.

When you see one of our shirts, our goal is for the message to stay with you long after you've seen it. We want the quote or design to be something that you think about throughout the day, something that sparks a conversation with a friend, or even something that you contemplate on your own.

We believe that by promoting dialogue and conversation, we can bring people together and foster global understanding and empathy.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Sampletext is for every group but not for everyone. It brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared passion, interest, or ideas.

Our target audience is similar to skateboarding in that it attracts people from several different groups. When you show up to a skatepark there are jocks, nerds, artists, rich kids, homeless, Straight edge health nuts, Druggies, young people and old people, lgbtq, People with disabilities etc.....

NAME SIGNIFICANCE

The meaning of the name Sampletext is " A Genesis for Creativity". When you see sampletext it is usually at the starting point of creating something new in a creative software such as photoshop, microsoft word, Adobe premiere etc.

LOGO MEANING

The Sampletext logo is a unique take on the traditional yin yang symbol. Rather than adhering to a black-and-white dichotomy, Sampletext's logo features a third spiral that represents the grey area between the two sides. The logo also incorporates several sacred geometric elements. Each spiral is perfectly in line with the golden ratio, a mathematical proportion that is found in nature and often associated with beauty and balance. The logo's negative space is equal to its positive space, creating a sense of harmony and equilibrium. When the logo is flipped and connected, it creates the merkaba, also known as the Star of David, a symbol that represents the connection between the divine and earthly realms. The merkaba forms the outline of the seed of life, another sacred geometric symbol that represents the cycle of creation and growth. By incorporating these elements into its logo, Sampletext seeks to convey a sense of balance, harmony, and connection, in line with its philosophy of promoting personal growth and self-expression.

WALKING BILLBOARD PHILOSOPHY

people dont realize how a t shirt can be used as a walking billboard . people are walking around with a shirt that just says "gucci" and they think its fire all while practically walking around with with an advertisement on their shirt.

Considering this walking billboard philosophy sampletext chooses to use this oppurtunity to spread messages for the good opposed to other brands that choose to use the oppurtunity to advertise themselves. The messages we spread are focused on personal growth, self-improvement, and mindfulness.

Uniform philosophy

Fast fashion sucks for the enviornment. This is why sampletext is keen on the uniform philosophy of clothing which is the idea that every piece of clothing in a person's wardrobe should be chosen with the intention of being good enough to wear every day. This means that the clothing should align with the person's personal style and reflect their individuality and self-expression.

This philosophy encourages people to invest in versatile, high-quality pieces that they truly love and feel confident in, rather than constantly buying new and trendy items that may not have the same level of comfort or meaning.

Uniform philosophy can lead to a more sustainable, mindful approach to fashion and personal style, all while being a more authentic representation of oneself through clothing.

Uniform philosophy of clothing, if more widely used, could have a significant impact on slowing down the negative effects of fast fashion for a few reasons:

By slowing down the demand for fast fashion, a uniform philosophy would decrease the pressure on the environment caused by the textile and fashion industry

ANTI GIFTing PHILOSOPHY

Unless specified by the gift reciever that they want a specific shirt from sampletext. We dont think sampletext should be gifted to people. from personal expierence alot of clothes that i end up giving away is gifted to me. I used to also just let the gifted clothes just sit and take up my closet or drawer space. Gifting clothes is extremely difficult to do because fashion is a source for self expression. Only you can self-express you.

Sampletext has an anti gifting philosophy and does not encourage gifting of its clothing products unless specifically requested by the recipient. By promoting individual self-expression and discouraging the practice of gifting clothing items, Sampletext remains committed to supporting its customers in their personal journey towards authentic and meaningful self-expression.

We price all of our clothes one cent over the dollar amount ie 4.01$ opposed to 3.99. Our 2 cents is that 2 cents should not make or break you purchasing our products.
